As we saw, the precision of geometrical alignment does not
allow a subtraction pixel pixel in the majority of the cases. We thus
estimated the flux of the supernova by using fluxes of opening.
Four cases of figures are possible:
- The galaxy does not have a contribution and flux is weak (it is the case for 2001hb like illustrates it figure 8.18 ), one will then carry out a simple photometry of PSF.
- The galaxy does not have a contribution and flux is significant (the case of 2000fr and 2001gq figure 8.19 ), one will then carry out a simple aperture photometry.
- The supernova is centered on the galaxy and the galaxy is not solved (2001gn, figure 8.20 ).
- The galaxy is solved or the supernova is not centered above (2001go and 2001gy).
