Conclusion on the systematic ones

If we will consider the same systematic error as knop2003, calculated for a batch of 11 supernovæ with a shift towards the average red of 0.6 (compared with 0.7 for our batch), that is to say a systematic error of 0.04 on the value of $ \Omega _ { \rm M}$ for a flat universe.

We thus have for the estimate with the supernovæ measured in b:

$\displaystyle \Omega_{\rm M}= 0.35^{+0.2}_{-0.15} stat. \pm 0.04 syst.$ (10.9)

and for the supernovæ measured out of U:

$\displaystyle \Omega_{\rm M}= 0.22^{+0.3}_{-0.25} stat. \pm 0.04 syst.$ (10.10)

The error thus is largely dominated by the statistical errors.
