 $ \star $ Galactic absorption

Our estimate of the Galactique extinction is made during the curve fitting of light. The magnitude to the maximum is thus corrected at this time. To be able to compare our measurements of absorption, we thus estimated fluxes of the supernova through effective filter with and without Galactique absorption. Absorption is written then for filter X:

$\displaystyle A_X = 2.5\log_{10} \left(\frac{\int_\lambda T_X^{eff}(\lambda)~SN...
...da T_X^{eff}(\lambda) ~SN(\lambda) ~ T_{Gal}(\lambda, E(B-V)) d\lambda} \right)$ (9.13)

Figure 9.11 shows the comparison of absorptions for the two analyses. Absorptions are on average equivalent with a dispersion of the order of %.
