Fluxs were also estimated by using a aperture. We chose several rays of opening so as to determine effective flux.
The technique is as follows:
- One estimates the position of the object by weighed barycentre.
- One centers the opening on the given position.
- One integrates flux inside the aperture.
- The error is estimated.
- One integrates in the same aperture and with the same procedure the PSF rééchantillonée into the position of the object.
- One corrects for flux apart from the ray.

Figure 8.12
shows that the rebuilding of fluxes by aperture photometry is little
biased (less than 0.5%) and that the errors are correctly estimated
(the sweater has a standard deviation of 1).
