Most of the follow-up was carried out using the space telescope Hubble. In spite of the modest size of its mirror (2.4m), its situation with the top of the atmosphere does of it one of the most powerful instruments for the stellar measurement of flux. We now describe the principal advantages and disadvantages related to its use.
